About Me

I earned my B.A. in Education in 1983 at Oregon State University, and my Masters in Music Education in 1992 at Western Oregon University.

In 1984 my first job was at Central Linn Schools. MMS hired me as Music Teacher in 1993.

I hail from Albany and am interested in International travel. In 2007 I travelled to India with my mother. I have also travelled to France, Belgium and Holland.

I have taken 15 years of piano lessons and I recently played trumpet in the Willamette Valley Concert Band and the OSU Alumni Band.

I also am accompanist for the Heart of the Valley Children's Choir.

My son and daughter are also musicians. He plays trombone and tuba. She sings and plays oboe.
