Grades will be determined off of the points a student earns.  Daily assignments will be worth 10 points.  A student will receive 10 points for an assignment that is 100% correct, 9 points for 90-99% correct, 8 points for 80-89% correct, 7 points for 70-79% correct, and 6 points for a percentage that is below 70%.  They will only receive the 6 points if the assignment is completed.  Work must be shown to receive credit for any grade.

Also, warm-ups, notes, and planners are required.  There will be periodic checks and points awarded for their completeness.  The amount of points it will be worth will depend on length of time between last check and the amount of material that should be in them.

Another way grades will be determined is with quizzes and tests.  They will vary in points depending on the chapter, length, and material.

To determine a grade, divide the points earned by the points possible.  This percentage will determine the letter grade given.

88% - 100% = A
78% -   87% = B
68% -   77% = C
58% -   67% = D
  0% -   57% = F

I may move a students grade up depending on the circumstances.  I will never move one down.
